Sealed bids for the 200,000 Gallon Elevated, Steel Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation, DRA Project No. MS-7712 for the Town of Liberty in Liberty, Mississippi, will be received by the Honorable Pat Talbert, Mayor of the Town of Liberty, Mississippi,
until 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Town Hall located at 160 Clinic Drive, Liberty, MS 39645, and shortly thereafter will be opened and publicly read.

The work involved in the project includes the rehabilitation of an existing 200,000 gallon elevated steel water storage tank as described in the construction drawings and specifications. All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P. A., 120 East Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS 39601, (601) 823-7026. A copy of the Contract Drawings and Documents may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering, P. A., 120 East Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS 39601 during regular business hours.

This construction project is financed by Delta Regional Authority’s, MS-7712, and is subject to the rules and regulations of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and all amendments thereof. Neither the United States nor any departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be, a part of this Invitation for Proposals or any resulting contract.

The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 and its associated regulations (24 C.F.R., Part 75). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses, Targeted Section 3 Workers and Section 3 Workers.

Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents. The Town of Liberty reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.
